F1 Abu Dhabi Event

CIX was invited to the 2010 Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Grand Prix. CIX showcased his work all weekend and performed an interactive piece with Formula 1 fans in attendance. CIX built his second Michael Schumacher mosaic live during the event. Michael Schumacher was also kind enough to sign the mosaic to show his gratitude to the work of CIX. CIX also built the Yas Marina track logo for the circuit which has since been installed permanently at the circuit. During the weekend CIX also showcased some more of his work, including a portrait of Bernie Ecclestone, the late Ayton Senna and also Mark Webber. At the end of the Grand Prix weekend CIX auctioned off his portraits for a undisclosed fee, which are now sited across the world.
